Torch River Agricultural Corp. is a Saskatchewan Agricultural Corporation. The Company’s Head Office is in Vancouver while the Farming Operations is based at the Garrick Corner, Northeast of Prince Albert and Saskatoon
Centre of operations for the company is in the Rural Municipality Torch River No. 488. The municipality established in January, 1950 is principally farmland and home to roughly 2000 people
The VP of Development of Torch River Agricultural Corp., Bob Munro, is a Saskatchewan native having grown up on the family farm in Garrick. Many people would remember his father Ken Munro and the section he and his family homesteaded in the 1930’s. A lot has changed since the family settled at, SW 30-52-16 W2.
President of Farm Operations is Jerry Kindrat. Another local native, Jerry is responsible for the daily operation of the running farm aspect of the company.
Our mandate is the acquisition of choice Saskatchewan farmland that will be used in a sustainable resource for future generations. As stewards of the land in which we grew up and where our families continue to live, our goal is to purchase and return the land to farming between Nipawin and Snowden.
